Few have stirred up more contraversy than the man known as KID. Norifumi Yamamoto upset many fans of the sport by going out of control after his fights. After a win, KID would continue to beat his opponent and throw refs off him when they tried to stop. KID has since calmed down though, that fight KID has had an almost flawless record, finishing fights by both KO and submission in both Shooto and the K-1 Organization. KID is known for being a good wrestler and a devastating puncher. This would bring on a whole new world for KID, this being the K-1 MAX. Norifumi would do well in MAX but only sports a 2 win 2 loss record. Both losses came to the hands of ELITE MAX fighters Masato by decision, and Mike Zambidis by 3rd KO. If KID keeps his cool from here on out and keeps on improving, he can and will have a great career in the lightweight ranks. Could KID become a double champion in the MAX and MMA Ranks? The future will only tell.

Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto was born in Tokyo, Japan, on March 15, 1977. He is currently twenty-nine years old. He is five feet four inches tall, and he weighs one hundred and fortythree pounds. He was once an Olympic wrestling hope for Japan, but he got into trouble for being too violent.
